New Relic are a band from Exeter in South Devon, England that I've been happily introduced to this year. Only together for a year, they've been headlining Southwest England venues in the Exeter music scene. On my first listen to their demos, I was immediately taken back to 90's Ocean Colour Scene, melded with an American roadhouse rock aesthetic, and hints of Kasabian and Jeff Buckley sprinkled in the vocals.
They're set to release a three song EP on New Year's Eve. (UK time) on Spotify, Apple Music, and here and can also be found on YouTube. I'm looking forward to seeing them more in the upcoming year. Check them out & follow:
