The Auditions of the Next Afrobeats Star was a whole new experience.
From dealing with my phobia for heights and overcoming it week to week.
To mic'ing over 300 persons a day for their audition and maintaining steeze and composure through the whole experience.
Abuja was warm and damn slow but PH gave us a run for our money🤣. The stories I cannot share here🤫.
After breaking down with a terrible sore on my lips from the extreme Abuja heat, I was super glad to be back to Lagos.
P.S: I took those trips after forcefully discharging myself from the hospital the night before we flew out - don't tell anybody🙈.
At the end of the day, I didn't die even though it felt like that was what I was gunning for😛😅
I grew stronger, stretched on my endurance and tolerance for people and made beautiful memories along the way.🥰🥰🤭🥰🥰🎉🎉

As I begin this new year, the only prayer point I have is GOD ABEG. As simple and unserious as this prayer sounds, it is a cry for mercy, a cry for help, a cry for divine intervention that 2024 be the year of amazing and great things.

It was an amazing and eye-opening experience and I loved every bit of it even though I kept hiding behind the scenes - dipping myself deeply into books and not networking with people🙈. In filmmaking, it is a structured visit used to scout locations for a film set before shoot day.
A very important mission for the technical crew which determines if the location works creatively, technically and logistically.
Shout out to Producers and EP's who are intentional about carrying the whole team along especially for sound.
Do I love recces?...
I bet we will never know but I love the bond, fun and conversations that come while on the journey.

Q1 was amazing.
The best part of being me as a sickle cell warrior is that I get to love and enjoy the whole package - including the down time and hospital crisis moments.
In all things, God has been faithful.
I am grateful for growth, genuine friendships, opportunities, my church community, family and especially for life.
I also got to explore being more feminine 🫣 iykyk.
Dressing up, making my hair more, wearing makeup and paying extra attention to skincare and I am totally loving it (even though e cost😅).
Cheers to Q2 and all of the best things that heaven has in-store for me. Cheers to living, loving and thriving with grace.🥂
Strides of grace
Saturday morning started with me being disheveled. With a wardrobe malfunction and being at a fix, to riders showing me their power and almost making me late, arriving at the event and my shoe decided to give way still 🤦. It almost felt like village people but I knew the power within I carried and kept pushing in spite of it all.
After dealing with nervousness for two days prior, all of the happenings almost distorted my line of thoughts😩. @blackboymcm Blackboy's voice kept ringing in my head reminding me that the event was not about me but about the attendees. And like the popular radio tagline, 'the show must go on'.
No one knew what I had dealt with, no one knew how I was managing the bad show🤪, no one but God and He helped me through it.
Here's to always winning in grace and gliding through situations with God's mercy.🥂
