“Indie Roots music, slacker Folk, or front porch jam grooves are all appropriate descriptors for Skyman. Recorded under the band name Sounding Arrow, the release is a solo effort from Scott Kinnebrew. Skyman is a wonderful dose of Psychedelic Folk (another apt descriptor), and a laidback effort that’s a perfect score for the solo or group hang. “These songs are soft enough to file under Folk, but with all the trippy fills this thing can be at home in the Cosmic Country neighborhood.”
