This 2025 Porsche 718 Spyder RS came to us for a stealth yet sophisticated radar and laser defense system integrated and built to perform without disrupting its factory lines. To ensure the driver stays protected without sacrificing aesthetics, we installed the Uniden R9W system with a fully concealed layout. Using our in-house 3D scanning tools, we captured the exact bumper geometry to design custom stealth pods for the laser shifters, perfectly contoured and minimally invasive with serviceability in mind. Up front, the setup features a combination of transceivers and transmitters, strategically integrated with the radar receiver tucked discreetly behind the bumper. In the rear, we fabricated custom pods that integrate into a magnetic license plate housing with the radar receiver seamlessly hidden behind the bumper skin, securely mounted yet easily serviceable, preserving the car’s body lines and styling. Inside the cabin, we crafted a sleek display pod mounted just above the steering column positioned for clear visibility without interfering with the gauge cluster. As a result we have a clean, OEM-inspired look that feels factory-placed. The control pad is discreetly mounted inside the center console using a custom 3D-printed bracket, allowing full functionality while retaining the original console cover and factory usability. This Mercedes-Benz AMG G 63 4x4² came to us after a previous radar and laser defense system was installed incorrectly. We started with a complete removal of the old setup before beginning the redesign process the right way. As usual, we began by 3D scanning the front, rear, and interior panels of the vehicle. This allowed us to design completely custom housings for the sensors, control switches, and display for the new Uniden R9W while maintaining the factory styling and lines of the vehicle. Once the housings were carefully designed to match the aesthetics of the G 63 4x4², they were 3D printed using IR acrylic and integrated into the vehicle for an OEM-style fit and finish. Every sensor location and angle was then tested and verified using our in-house radar and LiDAR equipment to ensure optimal performance before delivery. The client was extremely happy with the final result and performance of the system that before leaving, he placed a deposit for another installation on his Mercedes-Benz AMG S 63. We had the pleasure of welcoming a returning client back to the shop after their Blackwing install, this time trusting us with their 2025 Ferrari 296 GTB.
