Last night marked the first installment of SOUND BITE Sessions at W London (@wlondon ) Hosted in The Perception bar (@theperceptionbar), guests enjoyed live sets from Fliss (@flissmusiiic), Justin Peng (@justinpengmusic), Precious Pepala (@preciouspepala) and Charlie Jeer (@charliejeer).While the artists performed under Europe’s largest disco ball, attendees sipped drinks from a SOUND BITE exclusive menu and danced the night away. After her decidedly not “shit” debut in a school play, and theatre credits alongside Florence Welch, the Australian singer has swapped the stage for the studio.Here, she’s guided by the enormity of the universe and the resultant insignificance of her worries. And any worries she does have, MacInnes channels into her “cathartic” songwriting process.
