Mark Thomas is a seasoned Monitor Engineer with over 15 years of experience in large-scale touring productions, concerts, festivals, live television, and broadcast environments. Known for his technical precision, he has built a strong reputation for delivering reliable monitor mixes alongside robust wireless and RF infrastructure for demanding live productions.
With extensive hands-on expertise in RF coordination, wireless microphone systems, IEM deployment, spectrum management, antenna systems, and touring communications, Mark has worked across a wide range of complex live environments including international tours, televised productions, and major music festivals.
He currently works as Monitor Engineer for A. R. Rahman, Shaan, and Anoushka Shankar, while also serving as Systems Engineer for Yuvan Shankar Raja and Harris Jayaraj on large-scale live shows worldwide.
Over the years, Mark has contributed to major productions and festivals including NH7 Weekender, Coke Studio
@MTV , MTV Unplugged, Sunburn Festival, Magnetic Fields Festival, IPL Closing Ceremony, and international touring productions featuring artists such as Ed Sheeran, Sting, Steve Vai, Megadeth, UB40, and Kamasi Washington.
Alongside touring, Mark is actively involved in audio education as Curriculum Curator and Instructor at Eventech Academy, where he develops and conducts advanced training programs in live sound, systems engineering, and RF coordination for audio professionals.
