Clémentine / Laser Light Action Club / Souladybug @clementine.fr est une DJ inspirée par de nombreuses influences issues de la Black Music. Depuis Paris, elle co-pilote @chuwanagarecords , un label mêlant rééditions de qualité et nouvelles sorties excitantes. Son parcours l’a menée à se produire dans de nombreux clubs et festivals à travers la France et l’Europe, dont Dekmantel Selectors, Lente Kabinet, Nuits Sonores ou encore le Worldwide Festival. Que ce soit en club, en festival ou dans son émission Mellow Madness sur Worldwide FM (précédemment sur LYL Radio), Clémentine partage sans compromis sa passion pour les beaux morceaux qu’elle sélectionne entre Modern Soul, Jazz-Funk, Disco, Boogie et AOR. @akajldelon aka the Laser Light Action Club, alias the light man, illumine la vie de tes soirées. Souladybug here for this month’s edition of The Groove Merchant. She’s joined by Jonny Sender , who’ll be taking over the second hour. She’ll be setting the tone in the first hour, before Jonny Sender takes over. His mix crosses the spectrum and tempo of underground music for dancing with a Leftfield perspective in the New York tradition, where he's from. He's produced music and mixed records in the dark basements and clubs of New York since the early 1980s when the city’s percolating downtown scene was enjoying a period of peak creativity. Along the way he played in Konk, produced records—including for Jungle Sounds, Codek and Crosstown Rebels. **Happy to introduce you Jonny Sender: A Pioneering Figure in New York’s Music Scene** Musician, DJ, and native New Yorker, Jonny Sender is a tireless explorer of musical genres. Since the 1980s, he has blended bass, guitar, and turntables to push musical boundaries with the band Konk, a driving force in the fusion of disco, hip-hop, post-punk, and electronic music, alongside acts like Liquid Liquid and ESG. A key figure in legendary venues such as Paradise Garage and The Loft, Jonny has also made his mark on European stages, particularly in Geneva and Paris, and even in Japan. A prolific DJ, he has held residencies and collaborated with prominent names like Tony Humphries and François K. His creativity shines through in his deep-house productions, including the recent *Zhivago Zhivago*. 🇫🇷@lhoucinedeheb , beatmaker et DJ basé sur Nantes, moitié du duo @funkybijou aux côtés de DJ Marrrtin, nous a livré une petite pépite en cette fin d’année 2025 : l’album Soul Vision, paru sur le label @stereophonk . Entièrement instrumental, cet opus puise son inspiration dans les sonorités soul, funk et jazz-funk des années 70. Chaque titre se présente comme un hommage aux grands artistes qui ont marqué cette époque — Dave Grusin, Clarence Reid, Yuji Ohno, Isaac Hayes… On y découvre notamment un clin d’œil au vibraphoniste de génie Roy Ayers avec le morceau « Roy ». Les frères Mizzell sont également célébrés sur « Larry & Fonce », tout comme les frères Bell sur « Ron & Don ».
