In 2015 we were hired by Canon USA to test their new 50-1000mm Cine Servo Zoom lens.
We proposed a 15 min. story based on the film look & style of Robert Altman’s classic film - The Long Goodbye w/ Elliott Gould as Phillip Marlowe.
Which, of course is one of our favorite films (G)OAT!
Canon equipped us with (2) Canon C300’s, (1) 50-1000mm Cine Servo Zoom lens, (1) Canon 4K calibrated monitor and (1) C100 for BTS.

A while back.. Matt and I spent a wonderful Sunday afternoon at the Petersen .. viewing some of our favorite vehicles.. We got to see the ‘real’ version of my father’s replica Porsche Speedster 356D.
I am still wanting to see a Vector V12 + a Lamborghini Countach (red) with gold wheels..maybe someday.
Matt is a walking encyclopedia of vehicles, cameras, lenses among many other things.. but you can see him dropping some knowledge on me throughout the photo reel… With his hand gestures.
Petersen Automotive Museum: is a world-renowned museum dedicated to automobile history, featuring a vast collection of over 300 rare cars, motorcycles, and trucks, including iconic vehicles from film and television, hot rods, and supercars. Located on Museum Row, it’s known for its stunning, modern architecture. 🏎️🏁

Last fall I went to the Lizzy Borden home with my mother. For some strange reason IG will not allow me to post the image I shot of the dining room. Regardless, it was an experience to say the least as we were there for over two hours.

Lizzie Andrew Borden (July 19, 1860 – June 1, 1927) was an American woman who was tried and acquitted of the August 4, 1892, axe murders of her father and stepmother in Fall River, Massachusetts. No one else was charged in the murders and, despite ostracism from other residents, Borden spent the remainder of her life in Fall River. She died of pneumonia at age 66, just days before the death of her older sister Emma.
