Looks like there has been a bit of a revival in old, classic releases from @the_macallan recently. In my opinion, the Fine & Rare collection is the ultimate whisky set. High age statements, single cask releases, old vintages (including the 1926!).
Ive been fortunate to try a lot of vintages from the F&R series and must say that the quality of the whisky does tend to be exceptional. I also believe that these releases offer genuinely good value relative to newer releases.
