I will be exhibiting two installation pieces at the upcoming art show at the Livery gallery on

There will be so many beautiful curated works from Canadian artists:
See you there 🌹
in the summer i had a solo camp on saturna: i went to the top of the mountain n wandered through the forest: the forest is one of the most wild places ive ever been: something feels so strange n holy about it all: i took my toy camera n took all these mirror shots that get instantly developed on receipt paper: look at all these strange little spirits living within sight
Mama n me on display at @habitcoffee for the Plasticity show put on by @supplyvictoria 🌟
Mama n me is made up of non perishable items of mine I collected since 2014: you can find all kinds of growing up I did n didn’t do woven within these pieces
I was so deeply inspired by @alyshafarling.art incredible work of collected n found objects that I began creating with my own. Her work is some of the most magical thoughtful sculptural pieces I’ve ever seen: ❤️ forever in awe of her work ❤️
The year of the snake : amen to the entirety of it all
all of our layers find themselves back into the rocks somehow: when we meet again may it be a little softer ❣️
Twenty-Eight: is my piece from our recent show The Night Swim
a promised love popped me out on the otherside filled with little prayers in the form of a deep grief that still finds itself unpacking: a rage I hadn’t known I had: a peace I never thought possible: and a deep faith that each of the pain is a gift no better or worse than love itself:
I hadn’t known what I would create with these discarded treasures: wood, and metal found on the roadside: but as I began to draw on each piece, a story began to reveal itself. One that mirrors my recent quiet revelation: a sense of freedom; faith; and a love for what each experience was and for what it wasnt. Each pain sits on the altar as high as each joy:
The Night Swim takes its ocean and reveals itself in these works as both destroyer and deliverer: it takes what I once thought I needed, and gives me back something truer.
