How we started- reducing food insecurity through our Matan Arewa project by providing solar dryers for women to reduce farm loss. And now establishing women agroprocessors with equipment like solar irrigation pump, solar refrigerator, solar dryers and solar milling machine.
If there is something Sosai holds dear to heart, you know it's women empowerment. Women in rural areas especially are the backbones of their household and community, and we do within our capacity to uplift them.
We are very excited about our latest project @marketmapng which is for women agroprocessors and farmers.
It's a project that provides women with agro-processing equipment such as refrigerators, dryers, irrigation pumps, and mills to use or rent out to farmers and the likes.
We have gone a step further to digitalise this by creating the MarketMap app that gives users access to farming insights across various locations in Nigeria, allows clients/farmers to rent these equipment with ease and provides access to financial support and tailored financial models specifically designed for agro-processors.
This is a life-changing projects not just for the women but us a company, and we humbly invite you to the launch on Tuesday, 28th of May, 2024 in Abuja as we unveil our latest labour of work.
