Realized I never did a Thumbelina try on! No makeup but put everything on :3 I wanna get pics of her and so many other cosplays so bad!
I literally had to set my phone up so far back to try and get my dandelion in the picture because it’s so tall 🤣🤣🤣 I’m 5’7” and it makes me feel so small, which I guess is the point 🤣🤣🤣 I still didn’t get my feet and shoes in the photo 🤣🤣🤣
Typhlosion try on! Except no wig cuz I just got my hair done. Also I clearly am not wearing cow slippers lol. All I really have left is the lighting/attachment for my neck piece and the beads for the obi ties. And a katana, if I want a katana. Excited to get this one off the book, cuz I’ve been working on it for a while and it got stagnant!
I apparently never posted last Friday’s shirt even tho I SWORE I did. So here’s today’s shirt and last Fridays shirt that I made.
I’ve been possessed by the tie-dye shirt demon lately, because those kinds of button downs seem to be funky-button-down office acceptable by all the office old guard. So I figured I’d have at least two of those in my rotation.
I think my goal is to have an actual fuckload of button down shirts, so then I no longer have to wear stupid polos, and then I can be the funny shirt guy around the office.
Me and Pearl have what I call MommyBlankieSnuggleTime. It’s like a daily occurrence, and clearly very therapeutic for… someone. Idk if its me or her or both at this point. If it has not happened yet that day, she gets very upset and meows at me until I am lying down on the couch, put the blanket over me, and then open the blanket up at my head so that she can crawl in and lay on my chest… then I close it again. Usually I completely submerge her in the blanket, but I was able to move it a little after she was totally passed out and get this gem of her snuggling on me. But then she woke up after I took the pic and meowed at me to put the blanket back. Very insistent.
My 3D paint was old while I was doing this one, so I feel like the lines are maybe thicker in gold than I’d like. Debating if i keep it pure gold with the thicker lines or do more dimension with an aged look. Hmmmm.

I think I need to modify my buttercream recipe in order to use my new big tips for large flowers. My recipe I have now works for my small tips and seems to flow well through those and keep the form of the design (also it tastes good), but it’s blobbing out on the big tips that have more intricate designs. I think it’s too soft. And when I modified my recipe yesterday to make it stiffer it got way too granular and wouldn’t flow. Harumph.
This means I’ll have to bake another 36 cupcakes and practice again.

The last of my prior Joann fabric leftovers that I still had to make shirts from ;-; now I need to get through my cosplay backlog. Or keep making more shirts, whatever comes first. If I have enough where I can just wear one every day and not need to do laundry for like 3 weeks that would be pretty cool lmao. I’ll become (more) unhinged
