To Berlin in May 📸 👁️
Last year, within apartment blocks from Marzahn to Moabit, I climbed stairwells of crinkled cream and off-pistachio to make portraits.
I'm coming back, May 18-24.
Available light, a chunky flash; perhaps one outfit change. Moments of precision are followed by breakdowns of laughter. I adjust your fleece, with permission. We refine that gesture from your reference photo. We end with soft shadows falling along the half-plastered wall.

By the time I arrived at the magical dragon slide after an afternoon walk through Geylang, it was hard to stand straight due to the extreme temp and the sun was burning through my airy layer of linen. The exhaustion was worth it though, to see this design by Malaysian watercolorist, Khor Ean Ghee.

A pleasure to document the unveiling of a new permanent public artwork by Turner Prize winner @_jasleen.kaur_ at Cygnet Square SE2.
The weather was bitter, but the serene green sculpture lit up our surrounds, as did a sweet horse who arrived downstairs just after the opening gathering.
'Fragments of local conversation permanently embedded into the landscape, leading the eye to the words 'horses are here' written high in the sky.'

So as not to disturb the flow, I had a short time in a number of studios to capture ideas unfolding spontaneously. I witnessed multitudes of new gestures which I am happily revisiting a few months later – perhaps inspo for Xmas party moves? If only...

Edible mould landscape by the magnificent plant queen & food artist @hrb_cooks , created in a cosy farmhouse during a culinary weekend.
Helen (affectionately Herbz) and I will soon celebrate ten wonderful years of connection on this planet.
We first met at her cake workshop at that residency which has become legendary, and now we find ourselves spending evenings observing the way edible psychedelic edible goo merges on a mirror's surface.
Aiming to get more in touch with the sublime through slime as the next decade progresses.
