Today’s joy is a new writing space. My old faithful plywood bureau can rest easy knowing many poems were created there and good coaching happened in its well-loved lap. And now this beauty enters service and brings extra space for such things.
Here’s ‘Ampersand Again’ which just arrived in my inbox. (A discarded elastic band on a counter top makes the shape of an ampersand, a slightly wobbly one, but an ampersand nonetheless.) #ElasticBandPhotos
May on the calendars brings:
#LookThere Ronnie jumping for joy in #Margate at the #Lido
#ElasticBandPhotos ‘Tree': A curled discarded elastic band on the ground with plant matter below makes the shape of a tree.
Submissions are open! Link in bio.
Only two weeks to go and we haven´t received a lot of submissions yet. We´d like to read more of your beautiful work!
The theme of our new anthology is “A Long Way From Home”. The theme can be taken literally or metaphorically. The forced migration and displacement of people, but also voluntary migration for work reasons, for love. Why some people are called expats and others migrants. The migration of birds. A person that feels like home. A country, a place, a language, a body that doesn´t. Poetry and CNF welcome, black and white drawings are also possible.
