Iām devastated to announce that @sookspaces closed its doors yesterday for the final time. We simply werenāt able to keep the business funded in the current climate having fought so hard to survive. Hopefully 2024 will bring better fortune for our incredible team

āMy grand parents were entrepreneurs. I didnāt know it growing up, all I knew is that they leave home at 5am and come back home late. I had privileges, like leaving school during lunch to eat at the shop. It was my favourite thing to do. I also liked counting coins and putting them in those bank plastic bags. I never thought even for one day that I would have a shop.
Today we opened @awbrandandco at Mall Of Africa. It was our first trading day. We decided to not announce it because we needed to get organised and deal with teething issues.
There were so many people who came by and said the most amazing things about the space and the brands, including the brand owners themselves. My favourite thing to hear was that the store feels like home.
Iām typing this with tears streaming down my face because, how did I get so lucky? I get to create, dream, win and take others along. Itās been hard getting here but listen I AM HERE!!! To God be the glory.

The NHS are raising awareness about their mission to save and improve lives through blood donations in Sook, Birmingham this week.
The five day activation gives visitors the chance to find out their blood type, register to donate and learn about all forms of donation including platelets, plasma and organ.
