After years of working the regional Con scene, the Sons have joined forces with Koala Bair Promotions to bring to Australia the people that helped shape our childhoods! Big City’s, regional centres, everyone shares the love! ❤️
Fist cab off the rank is Mr @guyfgilchrist ! You may not know the name, yet this man’s art has created many of our core memories from across some of our favourite fandoms!
Known as Jim Hensons personal cartoonist, Guy was best know for his work on the Muppets Cartoon strip, Muppet Babies and Fragle Rock. Yet Guy’s career extends across our childhoods, from creating art for Disney colouring books to managing liscences for TMNT, Tom and Jerry and Loony Tunes, to writing children’s books for Disney such as Dark Wing Duck, Talespin, Duck Tales and Rescue Rangers!
We are hoping to do evenings all along the East Coast where you will have a chance to purchase an autograph or piece of art, a Sons Fireside Chat with Guy (including a possible guest spot from a Muppet or two) and a showing of a Muppet movie on the big screen! Events will be in the last two weeks of July.
