We have exciting news! The International Association of Schools of Jazz (IASJ) 2026 annual conference is going to take place in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, this summer! From July 6th–11th, our city will be hosting renowned jazz musicians, professors, and students of jazz, as over 100 ‘jazz cats’ are coming to Ulaanbaatar. Stay tuned as Sonsloo gives you more insights into this exciting, historic event! Check out the first episode of the IASJ podcast series with Martin Zenker – Board Member of the IASJ, Honorary Professor at the Mongolian State Conservatory, Lecturer for Jazz Double Bass at the University of Music and Performing Arts Munich, and Founder of the Goethe Music Lab Ulaanbaatar (GMUB).
