Turbo Fontaine demo. I’ve been dialing in the new logic tools to try and achieve a more accurate era tonal sound and hi fi mix for this style while getting better results using Flex Pitch to transform an audio source from any instrument to any other. A lot of the flashy riffs are taken from John M and then fusing them with my own performance to create a hybrid.
“Silversky” demo. I am finally dialing in the vintage vocoder sound I was imagining for Turbo Fontaine. Imagine Daft Punk meets Steely Dan. I’m utilizing Tal-U-No-LX vintage vocoder vst in logic and extracting midi notes from the recorded vocal with Flex Pitch and pasting them into the vocoder channel then side chained the vocoder to the live mic.
Thankful for love, family, kids, friends, music, career change, house, yard, city, community, teaching, learning, helping, and accepting help.
Audio is a reworking of my Spirit Wives release “Trouble” (first heard on KSERfm) as a Yacht Rock demo. Taking the same material and flipping the vibe from pessimistic to loving as my life has evolved.
