After 7 years the #FreeHumanitarians have been cleared of all charges! Even the prosecutors argued for the acquittal. I was working on Lesvos when Sara, Sean, Nassos and their colleagues were arrested and accused of espionage simply for implementing the EU law of providing search and rescue operation and while doing so communicating constantly with the authorities. I can only imagine what those 7 years of living in limbo did to their lives. After all this time the verdict must be bitter sweet.
