Just came down from the high of Sunwaves SW35, where the Black Sea waves carried us through five unforgettable days and nights at @sunwavesfest . This final Romanian edition after 18 years of magic left my heart overflowing, and I’m struggling to find words for the pure joy of dancing with my friends under those starry skies. 🌊✨
For me, the last 14 years, Sunwaves has been my sanctuary—a place where hypnotic beats, sandy dancefloors, and the warmest community created memories I’ll carry forever. I’ve laughed until dawn, lost myself in marathon sets and felt the rush of discovering new sounds with thousands of strangers-turned-friends. Each edition was a chapter of freedom, from the electric energy of packed tents to the quiet moments watching the sea at first light. This last SW35 was something else—every beat hit harder, every hug felt tighter, knowing it was Romania’s final bow. The authorities’ restrictions may have ended this era, but they can’t dim the love we poured into those dancefloors.
Dancing with my crew this time was beyond words—pure euphoria, connection, and a bittersweet celebration of everything Sunwaves gave us. We moved as one, carried by the music and the weight of 14 years of memories. I’m heartbroken it’s over in Romania, but so grateful for every second. Here’s to keeping the Sunwaves spirit alive, from the Black Sea to Spain in September 2025 and beyond. 🌅💖
