After a month-long pop-up, I could feel how much my mind and body needed a reset—and somehow I found it in the most unexpected way, and so many intentional moments woven throughout the experience. I spent the day at @girlsdayla - a one-day self-care summit filled with conversations, wellness workshops, and a thoughtfully curated marketplace. Getting to spend a full day like this—slowing down, reflecting, and gaining clarity alongside my bestie—felt really special. As someone who works in events and has seen a lot across the board, I have to say… what was created for a first-year event is genuinely commendable. POV: you and your bestie have been waiting for this moment 👠❤️ My bestie and I went to see @thdwp2 yesterday (she literally flew in from Vancouver so we could experience this together 🥹). It felt like a dream walking into @westfieldcenturycity —they created the most surreal backdrop. From the photo ops to the live vending machine (yes, we secured the cutest beauty goodies + our own copies of Runway), everything felt so intentional. Freaking iconic. We were already making core memories before the movie even started—strutting through the mall, hyping each other up, loving the moment, fully in our element. I needed the popcorn handbag… she said absolutely not 😭 but it’s okay, DIY queen energy prevailed and my little purse moment was just as cute. And then the The Devil Wears Prada sequel??? Everything. The fashion, the nostalgia, the fact that the stars haven’t aged a day… all the right modern elements mixed with the fan moments we’ve loved for years—she just hit.
