This is not a joke ok? Seriously, iāve been practicing too much halo these last months, and at some point i had neck pain going down until my fingers (the little & ring finger), i lost the sensation of it. So here are the exercises that I still currently do, which are super funny but it worked on me š«”
This is me, Iām not lying, I never had really talents, I didnāt start breaking early as a kid, Iām not recovering fast enough from my injuries, Iām not building muscles fast enough⦠there is so much imperfection and sometimes we wish to be different. BUT I never stopped, and I believe that with hardwork & passion we can achieve everything š«¶
Control the controllables & keep a strong, positive mindset! Itās not always easy, and Iām not perfect. Sometimes I struggle, I ask myself when Iāll finally recover from my knee and start thinking negatively. But after a while, I take a step back and distance myself from the situation. I read my book, and remind myself of a few quotes (like this one). And just like that, the day ends the way it should: positive.
Iām getting better at it: the more I train my mind, the faster I can reset and avoid negative thinking. One day, Iāll be back. Soon šŖ
Literally me this week. I got a cold last week and was lying in my bed for a couple of days. I hate the feeling of not being able to do anything. But yes now it is almost over. Sometimes I feel that my body doesnāt respect me even if I try to give him everything what he wants šš«£ who can relate?
To all Bgirls: we can achieve anything, all powermoves, footwork, freezes combination that we want if we put the right work into it. Nothing is impossible, letās be confident and letās just do ittttt š¤šš šŖ

1. Give yourself at least 3 months to fully focus on rehab. In a dance career, 3 months is NOTHING.
2. If you feel pain or a weird sensation in your knee 24h after a workout, it means you pushed too hard or did exercises your body isnāt ready for yet. Adjust next time.
3. Donāt take risks by trying moves that donāt feel right for your knee. Youāll only slow down your recoveryāand itās usually not worth it.
4. Donāt plan competitions based on when you think youāll be recovered. It can create stress and make you rush the rehab process.
5. Donāt compare yourself to othersāeveryone has their own path. Instead, focus on making the best of where you are right now.
