This is not a joke ok? Seriously, i’ve been practicing too much halo these last months, and at some point i had neck pain going down until my fingers (the little & ring finger), i lost the sensation of it. So here are the exercises that I still currently do, which are super funny but it worked on me 🫔

This is me, I’m not lying, I never had really talents, I didn’t start breaking early as a kid, I’m not recovering fast enough from my injuries, I’m not building muscles fast enough… there is so much imperfection and sometimes we wish to be different. BUT I never stopped, and I believe that with hardwork & passion we can achieve everything 🫶

Control the controllables & keep a strong, positive mindset! It’s not always easy, and I’m not perfect. Sometimes I struggle, I ask myself when I’ll finally recover from my knee and start thinking negatively. But after a while, I take a step back and distance myself from the situation. I read my book, and remind myself of a few quotes (like this one). And just like that, the day ends the way it should: positive. I’m getting better at it: the more I train my mind, the faster I can reset and avoid negative thinking. One day, I’ll be back. Soon šŸ’Ŗ

Literally me this week. I got a cold last week and was lying in my bed for a couple of days. I hate the feeling of not being able to do anything. But yes now it is almost over. Sometimes I feel that my body doesn’t respect me even if I try to give him everything what he wants šŸ˜‚šŸ«£ who can relate?

1. Give yourself at least 3 months to fully focus on rehab. In a dance career, 3 months is NOTHING. 2. If you feel pain or a weird sensation in your knee 24h after a workout, it means you pushed too hard or did exercises your body isn’t ready for yet. Adjust next time. 3. Don’t take risks by trying moves that don’t feel right for your knee. You’ll only slow down your recovery—and it’s usually not worth it. 4. Don’t plan competitions based on when you think you’ll be recovered. It can create stress and make you rush the rehab process. 5. Don’t compare yourself to others—everyone has their own path. Instead, focus on making the best of where you are right now. Rocking my @smilodox outfits šŸ‘•
