Par une imagerie dense et stratifiée, Saif Fradj met en scène l’automne de la Terre — épuisement, dépossession, violence structurelle — face au « printemps du comprador », figure des alliances ambiguës entre intérêts locaux et forces globales. Extrait de Khareef (Automne) Saif Fradj Images de Sahbi, Hamadi, Salah. Son : Emna Maaref 5 minutes Des paysans de Chenini, heureux de la libération de l’eau pour l’irrigation, filment ce petit bonheur sur leurs téléphones et partagent les vidéos sur les réseaux sociaux. Ces images deviennent ensuite la matière d’un poème célébrant la beauté de l’automne. Les images brutes sont associées à une superposition d'une numérisation de phytogrammes de plantes sauvages sur pellicule double 8mm. RETOUR EN VIDÉO — VERNISSAGE Autumn of the Earth, Spring of the Comprador Saif Fradj — Curating I Farah Sayem Retour sur les temps forts du vernissage qui s’est tenu le 11 février 2026 à La Boîte. Une soirée marquée par des échanges riches autour du travail de Saif Fradj, entre images, territoires et récits ancrés à Gabès. Le talk, en présence de l’artiste, de la curatrice Farah Sayem et de Hammadi Nibili, agriculteur de l’oasis de Chenini, a ouvert un espace de discussion précieux autour des réalités sociales, agricoles et politiques traversées par le projet. Merci à toutes celles et ceux qui étaient présents.
