Thank you @Phish , phamily, and the creators of the #spherelasvegas
This was truly such a beautiful experience, divinely blessed that humans can come together to create so much love and joy. Daniel and I took time away from the kids for the first time (thanks family!!). Travel to Vegas from Massachusetts was an austerity for purification not unlike other great tours. The first of our two shows opened with us inside a giant church out in nature that then collapsed into a field under the stars.
All of the giant Omni Theatre screen visuals were incredible. But for me, the best parts were later in the shows when Kuroda took over and it was the traditional light show amplified and multiplied in space. Great view from everywhere in the theater and I have no videos from those parts I was lost in the dance.
After an incredible second night⌠They fully blasted our hearts open even wider than before with the encore. During Wading in the Velvet Sea, Trey sang with so much care and love, and they began a reel of screenshots of the audience in all our joy; photos from many different shows and years, dissolving into one another. We began cryingâŚ. All of us. Or at least a lot of us 20,000. They split my heart open, and I was sobbing tears of gratitude, much like the love and tears I experience at the end of Devi Bhava when Amma stands there and blasts us all with her love and appreciation, reflecting our own potential. After experiencing the band all weekend performing this nearly inhuman act of greatness, they turn it around and remind us that we are part of the organism of this creation. Then they showered us with flower petals, I mean balloons and fireworks, during the long-awaited Fluffhead before taking their bows to close out the run.
Met so many beautiful people all weekend. Infinitely grateful for this blessing and reset, a little push back towards my true potential. Weâre all in this together. Love, thanks. â¤ď¸â¤ď¸â¤ď¸ and thanks to @sitarmagic for convincing me to make this journey, and being on it with me

Did a really fun #easteregghunt today. First we learned all about how birds camouflage their eggs at @flyingcloudinstitute , then we got to camouflage some eggs ourselves with natural dyes. Our instructor hid them while we ate lunch and then we got to find them along the trail! Best egg hunt yet. đ River was very attentive to the details about the birds and while he was painting his eggs.
Happy birthday #CedarRain, the cutest little pirate-dinosaur (or here, knight-dinosaur) in the land. You have a great sense of humor, the sweetest heart, and are so articulate and imaginative. Youâve grown so much in the last year, almost not my little baby any more. Starting pre-school and loving it, making friends, trying new things. You introduce yourself as âSpideyâ and like to âget all Spideyâd upâ before we head to the bus stop for River. âWill you play with me?â is your sweet heart-call. I love you so much and I canât wait to play with you more now that youâre 3 years old. â¤ď¸â¤ď¸â¤ď¸
Another year another cake. River helped design, bake and decorate, and saved his layers-of-the-earth shirt (the cakeâs inspiration) to wear for his party today. âşď¸ What a cutie pie. I canât believe my boy is almost 6!! He continues to amaze us with his creativity, energy, and curiosity. He cracked the code on reading recently, and oh the things he will do with a cardboard box, scissors, tape and markers. Kindergarten has been a new realm of testing his edge in new environments, and he is rising to the challenge with an open heart. From feeling sensitive and cautious to overwhelmed and frustrated to exuberantly silly, he offers us the opportunity to love him where he is in his beautiful humanness, as we try to guide his little being of love through lifeâs myriad emotions. Iâm so proud of this beautiful spirit and that I get to be his mama. â¤ď¸ Happy Birthday River
