What a dream, working on the brand identity for House of June. I had been hoping to collaborate with an interior designer, so when she reached out, it felt like perfect timing. Based in Sonoma County, the direction leaned into a sense of coastal calm. A soft, grounded palette, a classic type suite with a subtle moment of script, and layouts that give the work space to speak for itself. Alongside the identity, we created a set of social templates, translated into Canva to carry that same sense of consistency across her digital presence. I’m currently booking branding, web, and print projects for June. If something has been sitting on your mind, I’d love to hear about it. 🕊 • • • Images sourced from Pinterest and used solely for presentation purposes.

A moment with the @rosalie.bridal tote bags. We wanted to create something that felt like a keepsake from their bridal appointments, something that could intertwine with everyday life. We had created tote bags in the past, but it was time to update them to a custom piece. Love how they turned out. I take mine everywhere. 🕊️

A new moment for Rosalie. Chloe opened Rosalie in 2022 with a really clear idea of what bridal could feel like in Iowa. Slower. More personal. No rushing. No pressure. Just space to be present in a moment that actually matters. Obviously, I was drawn to that immediately. We didn’t start working together until 2023. At first, it was small. A DM from me saying, hey, I genuinely believe in what you’re building and I think I can help you show it visually. We started with social templates that felt more editorial, then moved into printed pieces, more graphics, and eventually the website. But if I’m being honest, from the very beginning, I knew I wanted to build her brand in a bigger way. Rosalie had reached that in-between place. The foundation was there, but the brand needed to grow alongside the business, the years of intention Chloe had poured into it, and the new space that’s about to open. It needed to feel more refined, more considered, and more like her. From the start of the rebrand, we kept coming back to the same idea. Approachable luxury. Nothing stiff or overdone. Every detail designed with care, thinking about the full experience, not just how it looks on a screen. I love what Chloe and I created together. To me, it feels like a true reflection of her, and of everything she’s spent years building, finally represented in the way she’s always seen it. - Brand imagery by @wlkr.ella

Hello, friends!
My name is Maggie, and I’m the owner of Somos Studios. I’m not the best at consistently sharing what’s going on behind the scenes or who’s actually behind Somos, hence the reintroduction post the first week of January every year. In October, Somos turned five. I was deep in client work and almost let it pass by. Five years of something I took a chance on. My biggest dream, and the most meaningful lesson of my life so far. Design and business have always lived side by side for me. I studied design in college, then went on to teach at that same college. It has always been at the center of what I do. Pairing that foundation with a genuine desire to help businesses grow is what led me here, and I’m grateful knowing I’m exactly where I’m meant to be. I’ll never have the right words to thank the people who trust me with their projects. Getting to work in a world where design is always front and center is something I don’t take lightly. Going into year five, I promised myself I’d give Somos the same care and intention I give my clients. That meant slowing down and focusing on the messaging, strategy, imagery, and offerings. Something I’ve thought about for years but hadn’t fully given space to. In December, I walked myself through the process as if I were my own client. I brought on @wlkr.ella for brand imagery, refined the tone, added a portfolio page, and introduced creative consulting. I love answering questions, and even more that no question is off limits here. For the first time in a long time, it feels complete. If now isn’t the season for a project, or you’re here because design resonates with you, I’m really grateful you’re here. — Swipe to the end to see me five years ago getting ready to leave my job and start Somos. I had to scroll back to find the video but vaguely remember taking it. Two things I’m glad for while watching it: 1. I trusted myself enough to believe I could make it work. 2. Winged eyeliner is not for me 😂

From our brand identity project with artist @christycattin We built an identity that feels structured and intentional, giving her artwork space to breathe. The foundation is a minimal black and white palette that shifts with the tones of her work. She expresses emotion through color, and we help her speak it visually.

A little over a year ago, Krysta from @cryowellness.studio came to us with an idea: a wellness cabin. A retreat-style space centered around wellbeing. Something completely unique to the area, designed as a place for people to escape. We had worked together before to bring Cryo to life, and she was ready to build something new. Together, we brought Elm & Hearth into being, with a focus on how it would feel. A space to rest, to ground yourself, and to connect with the world around you. Follow along at @elmandhearth for updates as it all comes to life.

Business cards for @rive_pilates , printed in-house. • Our goal with these was to them to stand out — the kind of card that makes you think, I need to remember this place. Which is exactly what Rive is. • Foiled with a combo die on duplexed @gmundpaper Matt 38, using Obsidian from @foilcoltd on our @hot_foil KSF 3.
