Hither Dither 035 and 036 are rather uncommon JVC branded units, for operation on a mains voltage of 220V at 50Hz using a Type C plug. They can be used with both PAL and NTSC systems. I’m honoured to have three of my works on view at Western Michigan University’s @resonantgallery —Eternal Return, Khimaira and Sea Of Tranquility—as a part of Flicker & Roll, exhibiting from February 6th through April 2nd.

Astralathe 001 (Spoken for), Octarine 004 (Spoken for). Really pleased with how these turned out! Raw carbon steel polished to a near-mirror finish on the Astralathe, and a coarse brushed finish on the Octarine, both with metal knobs. Loving wishes to you all for the New Year 🖖🌈 I would like to take a moment to thank you all for your support over the many years of my musical and artistic practice, and most recently of my video instrument endeavour, Fermata Positronics. Your support means the world to me, and it is a great honour to have the opportunity to share these works and instruments with your hearts and minds. In particular with Fermata; what at first began as a personal and experimental exploration into circuit-bending video devices has become a fully fledged and integral part of my practice, and one that brings me great joy, especially when I can share the fruits of this research with you. A very special thanks to all of you who have supported me in this endeavour for the past three years, and who have integrated instruments that I have made into your setups. To see what you create with them brings a set of feelings to me that is wonderful and humbling indeed; I am always surprised to see what you end up creating, well beyond what I could ever have predicted these instruments would be used for. To witness the endlessly varied ways in which you make electricity and photons flow is a true pleasure. In the coming years, I have 25+ new instruments planned, and research and development continues apace to bring them to life. My plan is to release between five and ten of them per year, depending on how much time I have available to develop them. Each of them will come to light as they are ready to be born into the world. My consistent aim is to design each with great love, care, and patience; to give them the methodical, meticulous attention and time that they each deserve in order to become instruments that are as well balanced as can be, and are an experience of beauty to play and explore with.
