✨ WAX TO SILVER ~ Ring Carving Workshop at Somewhere Blue Studio ✨
This workshop is for anyone who has ever wanted to create their own jewelry.
It takes place at Somewhere Blue studio — a calm, immersive space in the heart of Athens designed for focus and creativity. The workshop is beginner-friendly and no previous experience is required.
During our time together, I will guide you step by step through the process of carving your own ring in wax using the lost wax casting technique.
We begin by measuring your ring size, then move into shaping the wax using carving tools and heat; carving, melting, adding, or removing material as your design develops.
You’ll work with two types of wax:
• A softer wax for carving and hand-shaping
• A firmer blue & green wax applied with heat to build and layer form
Once your wax ring is complete, I’ll take care of the rest. Your piece will be cast in 925 Sterling Silver (up to 10g) at a local foundry, then cleaned, filed, sanded, hallmarked, and polished by me.
Your finished ring will be ready to collect or ship within 2–3 weeks — transformed from wax into silver, made to last.
Workshop details:
• Duration: ~3.5 hours
• Small group (max 6 participants)
• Snacks & drinks included
• No prior experience needed
Optional extras:
• 18k gold-plating (2-micron thickness) — €30
• Rings over 10g will incur an additional charge (determined during the workshop)
~Come as you are. Slow down. Work with your hands.
Create a ring to wear, to keep, or to offer to someone you love.~

Our last but definitely not least hat design for the beginning of summer “Caught by the Sea.”
This design was inspired by a decorative tile of a mermaid that I discovered years ago at the entrance of a tiny house on my favorite island, Tinos. I remember being completely mesmerized by her because she looked different from every other mermaid I had seen before.
Instead of a classic tail, she had an actual fish hanging from her waist. There was something so strange, playful, and unforgettable about her. I loved her instantly.
This year, I decided I finally had to turn that memory into something you could carry with you all summer long and what better than a hat.
