🎶 Final AES Friday Session! 🎶
Yesterday evening, local Wichita garage rock band The Vagabonds paid Somewhere Works a visit in all their rowdy, high jinks-filled glory for the WSU Audio Engineering Society’s final Friday live session of the semester. Film and audio students collaborated once again to capture the experience, leading to an unforgettable night that even included Shocker Studios’ first-ever guitar smash. Huge thanks to The Vagabonds for coming out, and to all who attended and helped out with this session! The WSU School of Music presents an exciting late‑night concert and jam session with pianist, composer, and innovator Greg Spero—part of the College of Fine Arts Connoisseur Series.
Known for bridging jazz, fusion, and technology, Spero leads the supergroup Spirit Fingers and has toured with Halsey and the Miles Electric Band. His performances blend high‑energy improvisation with deep musicianship, inviting collaboration and connection.
