š« trying to get better at documenting my process. Enjoy this little reel of my latest sweater. Iām sooo happy with the fit as itās based off of another one I completed recently - using @cascadeyarns superwash 220 in fingering weight but held double. I used scraps from old projects and had just barely enough to finish.
Have you seen my bows for sale at @royalfactory yet?? Grab one before theyāre all gone.
This was a fun little collection to make. Dress them up, Dress them down. Have fun š

I need to put together a reel of the process of dying the yarn - I did it during my botanical printmaking class and itās such an interesting process.
Allllright guys
I got this idea stuck in my head when thinking of doing stranded colorwork lettering and just ran with it. The last slide is a glimpse into how I create stuff like this and honestly I enjoy that process more than the knitting most of the time.
I learned a lot during this project, it was my first time doing such large swaths of ābackground colorā while still carrying the floats and it proved to make blocking a real pain. Of course I also made this too small for me and hoped blocking would magically solve the issue but alas, it has a weird fit in the chest right below my armpits and ever since, Iāve made sure to size up a bit before I break for under arms. Lessons learned I suppose.
Again, not sure why I made this and Iāve only worn it once. Still looking for a good excuse to wear it somewhere, lmk if you have any suggestions.
I keep making things too small!! Ahhh. I measure the whole time and think it will stretch and rely on that and then get tired of knitting and end things too short ⦠allll the time. I donāt know if Iāve ever made something ātoo bigā but the thought of saving time by knitting less stitches and rows ALWAYS wins out. Next time Iāll try something different
This was made with #berroco #vento which is a dk weight Alpaca/Wool/acrylic mix and really soft and light and lovely. Iāll probably make something in this next year when the weather cools again.
I had a lot of fun knitting this shirt. I learned a few new things and gained confidence in traversing larger portions of solid color when I do stranded colorwork. I also love the fit and the sleeves especially.
Little scrap sweater I made while waiting for new yarn to arrive. This uses leftover yarns from all of the Christmas Presents I made this year and Iām happy they all work so well together. Itās a mix of @knit_picks #wonderfluff & @lanagrossa #brigitteno2 and OH SO SOFT. This one is for cuddles šÆ
I had a lot of fun with this one. I created this stitch pattern for a previous work, itās just a simple 8st 8row repeat but is very intuitive and I didnāt have to look at the chart I made after the first few rounds. I really like creating new patterns as pixel art and then bringing them to life.
Sadly, Iām slowly falling out of love with raglans⦠I love the fit but the strong increases are getting to me, I need to find a way to incorporate them into the pattern more.
This sweater is self drafted and made from @lanagrossa Brigitte No. 2. WOW is it soft and light. Iāll be cuddled up in this all winter.
