Phase 1 of our historic West Bottoms project in Kansas City continues with the revitalization of The Moline into a 121-unit residential building. The newly installed windows are a testament to the transformation happening as the district takes on new life.
SomeraRoad’s restoration reconnects a meaningful piece of Kansas City’s history through a refined, contemporary lens.

Proud to welcome the national CRE community to Nashville and showcase the momentum behind SomeraRoad’s @paseosouthgulch — now one of the city’s most sought-after neighborhoods for hospitality, retail, and culture. From project tours to unforgettable neighborhood experiences, it was an incredible week sharing the energy shaping Downtown Nashville. 🏙️
Huge shoutout to everyone who pulled up to our annual Block Party on Saturday and brought the electric Nashville energy!☀️🌮🎶
From local pop-ups and elotes to cocktails and live music, Paseo South Gulch was buzzing all day long. Big thank you to our community partners and neighbors for making this one of our favorite days of the year 🫶
Welcome to The Firehouse in the heart of the West Bottoms, our Kansas City office where the team drives forward transformative work throughout KC and across the SomeraRoad portfolio.
Built for productive, collaborative, and creative work, the space blends office with a relaxed residential feel that inspires. Overlooking a district in motion where steel, brick, and grit meet the next chapter taking shape in real time.
A destination with its own distinct rhythm, yet unmistakably rooted in the spirit of Indianapolis. SomeraRoad’s The Stutz brings together some of the city’s best in retail, dining, wellness, and culture, shaping a dynamic downtown district where professionals and creatives move, work, and connect.
Once the storied home of the Stutz automobile factory, a cornerstone of Indiana’s industrial past, the building has been thoughtfully reimagined for today. Now, it hums with new energy, from monthly First Fridays to nationally recognized events like @butterartfair and @epicureanindy , evolving into a gathering place where the city’s energy comes to life.
1989 Main is a 238-unit multifamily community in the Crossroads Arts District, one of Kansas City’s most creative and supply-constrained neighborhoods. Surrounded by vibrant dining, live entertainment, and the cultural energy that defines the district, the property offers residents direct access to some of the city’s best experiences.
Since acquiring the property last year, SomeraRoad has been refreshing the building with premium amenities and updated common spaces designed for modern living in one of the city’s most dynamic neighborhoods. Through ongoing enhancements inside and out, 1989 Main sets a new standard for the best kind of living in the Crossroads.
Art & Culture Spotlight: One Hanover & Ivan Forde 🎨
In the lobby of SomeraRoad’s New York headquarters at One Hanover Square hangs Eternal Seas by Ivan Forde. Created with Bionic Yarn: A New Material for a New World, the piece uses marine ecosystem waste woven together to display mesmerizing seascapes, paying homage to New York City’s textile production and trade, the Cotton Exchange, and the origins of Wall Street.
We’re inspired by this remarkable expression of history, creativity, and reinvention each day, reflecting the innovative spirit that defines the space.

A look at one of our earliest milestones — and still a standout in the SomeraRoad portfolio. The 3Y Building, located in Kansas City’s River Market neighborhood, was SomeraRoad’s first acquisition back in 2016.
The 95,000 SF creative office has been reimagined into a fully leased, modern creative workspace. Today it’s home to locally and nationally recognized organizations including the MLS team Sporting Kansas City and offers floor-to-ceiling glass, open layouts, a rooftop patio with skyline views, and easy access to the streetcar just a block away 🚊
Art & Culture Spotlight: The West Bottoms & NOMADA 🎶
Creativity runs deep in Kansas City’s West Bottoms. Rich in industrial heritage and culture, the neighborhood carries a distinct and enduring character that continues to inform our vision and approach to restoration and development. As the neighborhood continues to evolve, arts and culture will only deepen their presence, with that creative spirit driving what comes next.
To us, creativity is infrastructure. Our collaboration with entertainment and creative firm NOMADA reflects this deliberate integration of the living, breathing culture that defines the district.
