Got good news this week that I'm in receipt of a Fingal Arts Office grant to write the first draft of my debut FEATURE FILM! No, I did not plan to start writing a feature film at this juncture, but I do not decide these things! I always knew when feature was ready to start being made, feature would clonk me on the head and ask to be made. Well it clonked and it hasn't stopped clonking! So am very grateful for the investment from @fingalartsoffice to have proper time to allow it to come through. It is a sourdough starter of an idea at the moment, I am fermenting the yeast that will one day form the bread of the film. Time is precious right now! Gratitude also to @eibh_collins@nationaltalentacademies for supporting my application and to the wonderful artist community and audience @scealcollective who champion my work in so many ways. And as ever to my mammy and daddy. No dole queue for me for a little bit longer, phew.

Proud to share that A Little Bird Told Me is an official selection among a small number of shorts screening at @toirishfilmfestival in March 🍁 Now in its 16th year, Toronto Irish Film Festival is an annual celebration of Irish storytelling, bringing the best of our lil nation's internationally acclaimed cinema to Canadian audiences at the iconic TIFF Lightbox in Central Toronto.
TIRFF was also one of the first festivals to ever screen our films, with Young People of Ireland debuting internationally at the 2024 edition. Thank you John Galway and team for the ongoing support!

A Little Bird Told Me is going to Fastnet Film Festival! Been wanting to have a film at @fastnetfilmfestival for many years. 🥹 Thank you to the cast and crew and to @nationaltalentacademies a @screenireland initiative whose funding and support allowed us to bring this very personal and meaningful story to audiences. Dreamy. 💙

So nice to be able to accompany A Little Bird Told Me to @kerryintfilmfest today along with our lil ✨️star ✨️ Ella Rooney and family. Thank you for the amazing response to the film and to the volunteers for the very warm welcome.
Very impressed and honoured by the calibre of shorts and unique viewpoints in Transatlanticism, the programme we were in today at Cinema Killarney. Especially liked Quaker, Fantas and Internal Bleeding. Looking forward to seeing more in the festival.
Thank you team ❤️
