T.V. Guy

Here’s a pair of pants I did a couple weeks back, Im really proud at how it turned out. I used the last slide as a reference for the piece. The inspiration for this peice came from Neon Genesis Evangelio, and I really just enjoyed seeing these two characters in the show. Although theres a few select scenes I’d rather have not seen from the series, at the very least the fight scenes were cool 💀

This was my first attempt at trying to create abstract art, Ive been told by a lot of people that my artwork comes off as more of a abstract style and I figured I might as well attempt to create something I would add tags here but apparently Im only allowed to add 3???

Couple months back I drew a black and white version of Servbot (3rd Slide) and that gave me motivation to continue to pursue art as something outside of just a hobby. It gave me a new from of confidence with my skills as an artist as I had finally drawn something from reference and it looked genuinely good in my eyes. Since then I’ve just been drawing more and more, working with different mediums, gaining new skills, and trying to apply said skills. This new piece i made was just to see how far I’ve grown with my work and Im honestly proud to see how far I’ve gotten with this stuff and I hope to create many more Im the future. These 3 prices i really enjoyed making. I was just getting used to my new Sumi Ink pen and I wanted to make a couple pieces to experiment with it. I had been messing around with it for maybe about a month or two but I’ve noticed that Ive been able to create textures a lot easier. I’ve been using the T.V. guy character to experiment with different mediums too. For example the The Angel character with the TV head was an experiment to; 1. Fully flesh out the whole Angel character I had made a while back 2. See how my style of wings looked with the pen, since I was confident in my ability to draw these from the Angel sketches Ive been doing. 3. Finish up a commission for a TV headed angel 💀 The black and white piece I was just using to ply with contrast, I really enjoy the contrast of black and white, it really makes things pop out. I also enjoyed making the patterns as Ive noticed they draw attention to certain of my artwork and it helps people focus on the main idea of what I want to present. The final piece of the T.V. Guy just standing there was just a pose i like to draw, it’s easy to repeat and once I added shading and the other fine details it came out great.

Here a couple sketches I did a while back to get an idea of the different angels mentioned within the Bible. These and the other Angel drawings I’ve done are inspired by the “Be not afraid” meme with the realistic Seraphim. Trying to relate to that scenario kinda inspired me to draw it out and see what angels I could create with my style. Hey, this is the third book I’ve been filling up. This one was supposed to help me flesh out some of my characters more and give me an initial idea for a future web comic I wanna produce . Ive been trying really hard to get this one set of panels down. I want to do a little action sequence at a spot called Point Nemo. It’s this area on our planet where we allegedly dump space junk at because it’s the farthest point away from civilization. I’m not too sure what I want to do with that setting exactly but I’ve drafted a couple scenarios so far to see which one would be worthwhile. Ive put the references for Point Nemo at the end of the post. This is the second sketchbook I had used. I tried to focus more on the actual designs of the characters that I’ve came up with so far. I especially love that way that Deskpop came out. I really wanna give the impression that he’s a kind of warrior or hero.
