The best feeling in the world is knowing you’re making your parents proud and creating new generational cycles in tandem.
With that being said, I’m proud to say that, as a first-generation student, I will be graduating Cum Laude with three degrees in psychology, neuroscience, and global health. Obtaining these degrees was not easy, but the refuge I’ve found in my friendships, family, and God has made it possible.
