DEAD LINES (Lineas Muertes) drives home the pain and struggle the world has faced in the last years, excoriating our broken systems and the wretched people who run them. Written together with @solvevlos (∆AIMON/ Sølve) and once more featuring production from @zolajesus collaborator @alexdg.wav , this album struggles with the weight of being pinned beneath systems designed to erase and pacify, where identity becomes contested and flensed, exposing how deeply the violence is embedded in the structures we’re forced to navigate. Yet we reject pure nihilism by shrieking empathy as resistance, to turn tools of control into weapons of reclamation.
For those who know the desperate frustration and invisibility that leads to burning everything down around you, this record is yours ♦️

Happy 5 year birthday to our remix LP 𝘛𝘏𝘖𝘜𝘚𝘈𝘕𝘋𝘕𝘌𝘌𝘋𝘓𝘌𝘚! This was such a joy to arrange, I love all the reworks and reenvisionings here but this remix by the legends @adultperiod is such a bump. Almost 1 month since I started learning clawhammer banjo. This is my progress as of today. Still need to tighten up my right hand rhythm and drop thumb technique but I’m pretty happy with being able to play something like this after just 26 days. Learned 4 songs, with this one, Sugar Hill, being the hardest so far - a combination of all the various techniques (drop thumb, hammer ons, pull offs, and slides). Already played around with righting some original (and moodier) stuff too. Give me another month and I’ll be ripping it up!
I think I picked the right time to learn banjo. It’s one of the only things taking my mind off the rage and despair eating me away in a constant spiral. Learning twangy louche and rowdy ballads in clawhammer style is my meditation right now.
Sending my love and solidarity to everyone. I wish I had words of hope and inspiration to share, but I don’t. But I’m going to keep showing up, and I’m here if you need anything.

Testing out the elasticStage Vinyl-on-Demand service. I don’t anticipate doing a run of this release, but I wanted a copy for myself and was willing to pay the cost of a one-off for my own interests. Overall (with import taxes and overseas shipping) this copy cost about $50, which is not insane for a single print, but certainly not feasible for most fans. In any case, what I will say is that the print quality and vinyl production is incredibly good. Beyond phenomenal, and I’m being picky. Well worth the cost even as a vanity copy. If anyone is curious about checking it out, I can definitely recommend it - though obviously more cost efficient if you’re in the EU.
