Our 2024 Chardonnay is here! A new release we're excited to pour. Awarded 91 points from Anthony Gismondi, this wine showcases everything we love about Chardonnay. The vintage started in Oregon, ended in BC and we were hands on every step of the way. The wine itself tells the story and reflects the quality and authenticity that we are committed to each year. After settling into our lakeview suite (and enjoying a local wine + charcuterie welcome), @topcattours picked us up right from the lobby to start our evening adventure. Here’s a taste of the stops we visited this time: 🍸 Controlled Entropy Distilling – Small-batch spirits crafted with precision. We loved chatting with the team and sampling their inventive gin and selection of spirits. 🍷 Solvero Wines – A boutique winery with breathtaking views and some world class bottles. We had a private tasting and got to ask all of our industry questions to the knowledgeable staff. 🍇 Lunessence Winery – Known for its serene setting and award-winning wines, this stop felt like stepping into a winter postcard. Wine and s’mores? say less! 🍺 Detonate Brewing – We ended the night with local craft beers and dinner in their laid-back taproom — the perfect finish to a night of sipping and celebrating. As we continue to press off our 2025 Pinot Noir, barrel work becomes a big part of these busy days. Brand new French Oak gets hydrated overnight before filling for the first time and nothing quite compares to the intensity of aromas during that first fill! Neutral and previously used barrels get steam sanitized before getting filled once again. The barrels used are carefully selected to suit the profile of each different Pinot clone and will be the home of our Pinot Noir for the next 14 months, before deciding on the final blend. We’re excited to follow the evolution of this wine as the tannins soften and flavours integrate.
