Introducing The COOP x SXD, Designed with Love Collection. This Earth Day, we continue rethinking how clothing is made from the very first cut. Built on SXD Zero Waste Design™, each piece is engineered like a puzzle, where fabric is fully utilized and no scraps are left behind. Through this system, material use is reduced by ~40%, proving that better design begins with better intention. From Harvard to MIT, @ShellyXuDesign ’s mission has remained the same: eliminate textile waste at its source. This collaboration with The COOP brings that vision forward across campus and beyond. Together, the collection saves 676.8 yards of fabric—more than enough to cross Harvard Yard or span MIT’s Infinite Corridor twice. Earth Day is a reminder that design carries responsibility. Now available in-store in Kendall Square and online. #TheCOOPxSXD #MITCOOP #MIT #EarthDay

“The true narrative of America... is that we are this extraordinary experiment in a pluralist democracy. We're this extraordinary experiment of a nation coming together across differences of race, religion, creed, ethnicity, any identifier you might want to label…a nation that came together around a belief in human dignity, in freedom, in self-determination.” -Nazanin Ash, CEO of @welcome.us We’re relistening to EP7 of The Solve Effect with Nazanin, finding inspiration in her words and the mission of Welcome.US—rooted in the belief that Americans are at their best when helping their neighbors. Listen (or re-listen) to the conversation wherever you get your podcasts. And help/support/love your neighbors.
