Modern anxiety is rarely about real threats. It's about having so much freedom that every decision starts to feel like it could quietly ruin your life. On this week's episode of the @solvedpodcast , we ranked 17 of the most popular anti-anxiety interventions from worst to best, according to the research. The pattern that emerges is uncomfortable: everything that actually works is a lifestyle change. Everything that doesn't is a quick fix. Comment ANXIETY and I'll DM you the episode link.

"Follow your passion" has ruined more careers than it's inspired. 60% of workers are checked out at their jobs. Every graduation speech tells you passion is the answer. So why aren't people fulfilled? In this week's episode of the @solvedpodcast , Drew and I actually debate this. He argues for practicality. I argue for passion. And what we find along the way might actually change how you think about your career. We get into why passion can destroy you just as easily as it saves you. We talk about survivorship bias, and why your brain physically can't think creatively when it's in survival mode. Comment PASSION and I'll DM you the episode.

Most self-help advice is either untested, overhyped, or quietly debunked. So we did the work — 2,600+ studies, 19 techniques, ranked across research quality, consistency, and actual effect size. Some things you trust landed in the bullsh*t tier. Some things you'd never expect actually work. Comment SELF-HELP and I'll send you the full episode.

I spent years deep in Buddhist practice — retreats, daily meditation, all of it. Then I started noticing something: pretty much every guru who brought meditation to the West was an alcoholic, an abuser, or running a Rolls-Royce-funded cult. Turns out meditating 8 hours a day doesn't make you a good person. The research on meditation is actually solid. It just doesn’t do what people say it does, and most people practice it the wrong way, especially when they think the goal is to quiet your mind. We get into all of this on the new episode of @solvedpodcast . Comment MEDITATION and I'll send you the link.

Junk food didn't exist for most of human history. Neither did the information environment we live in now. Both were engineered to be as addictive as possible. Both are making us sick in ways we didn't see coming. And in both cases, the solution wasn't willpower — it was awareness, then systems. We figured out nutrition labels and meal prep. We haven't figured out the equivalent for information yet. New @solvedpodcast episode is out and it’s all about focus. Comment FOCUS and I’ll send you the episode.

Is love just dopamine with good PR? Or is it the foundation of long-term success and stability? In this episode of the @solvedpodcast , we put love on trial. Drew and I debated it like two divorced attorneys in couples therapy. I argued it’s a neurochemical scam designed to make you delusional about deeply flawed people. Drew argued it’s the backbone of civilization, health, and happiness. By the end, we built a framework that explains why most people are chasing the wrong kind of love… and what the right kind actually looks like. Comment LOVE and I'll send you the link to the full episode.

New episode of @solvedpodcast is out, and it’s about the thing most people either worship or try to kill: their ego. In this episode, Drew and I break down what ego actually is, why it evolved, and how it quietly runs your thoughts, decisions, and insecurities without you realizing it. If you’ve ever tried to “get rid of” your ego and ended up more confused, defensive, or lost… this one’s for you. Comment EGO and I’ll send you the link.

Let’s be real—we all procrastinate. We all want to avoid doing the uncomfortable thing, but the more we avoid doing anything, the harder it is to beat procrastination and get anything done. ㅤ If the urge to constantly put sh*t off is screwing with your goals and keeping you stuck, it’s probably time to do something about it. ㅤ Drop a “STOP” in the comments and I’ll send you a free 5-day mini-course to help you get moving.
