Deepwater Pump Track in Milperra has been officially opened! Delivered for the City of Canterbury Bankstown, we have transformed this abandoned site into a fully active Pump Track. With overall design by Place Design Group, and the design and build of the pump track by @dirtztrack , our civil and landscape construction teams have built a recreational space that supports riders of all ages while promoting active community use. The track features sections for all riders, from beginner and novice level through to expert. This project is funded by the NSW Government in association with the City of Canterbury Bankstown through the Places to Play program. The Hornsby Park Crusher Plant Precinct has been transformed! In the heart of a former basalt quarry, this first stage in the Hornsby Park masterplan provides the community with a safe, scenic and accessible space to visit - all with a beautiful bush backdrop. Delivered for Hornsby Shire Council with landscape design consultant CLOUSTON Associates, our teams have converted what has been an inaccessible, inactive site for decades into a space where community members can make memories for years to come. We delivered: - Excavation and civil works - Sandstone retaining and bioretention structures - Concrete and feature paving - Installation of stormwater infrastructure - Accessible fencing and paths - Shelters and seating - A bespoke steel staircase - Drinking fountains, bollards, and signage - Soft landscaping works A site-wide sustainability framework was created by Hornsby Shire Council, alignment with which was achieved through the extensive reuse of sandstone, concrete and culverts repurposed throughout the park, reducing waste and preserving the site’s history. Now with new parking spaces, shelters, seating and lush natural landscapes, the park has become a new backyard for Hornsby locals and a scenic spot for travellers passing through.
