Hola buenas , I am Luis Humberto, 3rd generation Mezcalero, founder and CEO of SOLURO 1610 Mezcal Artnesnal. I was born and raised in San Dionisio Ocotepec, a small village located in the Central Valleys of Oaxaca, a descendant of the Zapotec civilization, to which I continue to carry the voice of my ancestors through my native language Zatopeco.
This is a picture of my mother, left,at the age of 23 and I was only 4 years old. Life for my mother had been a rough one. I was her pride and joy , she had three miscarriages prior to me. Her one and only. Her rainbow baby.
At this age my father had left me and my mother behind and migrated to Los Angeles in search for a better life for us. Shortly after my mother would join him, having me stay behind with my grandparents. Two years after my parents left to Los Angeles, it would be my turn in joining them. The ride was rough from learning a new language to living from paycheck to paycheck it was worth it for my parents having me by their side. This was the moment my parents hoped for because they knew my future would be set here with sacrifice and hard work. The rest is history.
Listen, no matter all the set backs that life throws at you, keep on going and never give up on your dreams !! Los sueños se cumplen nunca te rindas. En esta vida todo se puede nomas no te rajes !!!
