Sometimes all you need is a blank canvas to get the creativity flowing, be that through styling, or creating an entirely bespoke wedding dress.
The epitome of sleek simplicity, Cora is the perfect base to build your bridal look upon.
Choose to keep things minimalistic and modern letting this sumptuous fabric steal the show or add a bespoke design element to create an entirely unique take on the Cora dress.
Cora has been the base for some of my favourite bespoke bridal looks this year, I love how some small design tweaks can create a completely individual look that ticks each of your boxes and results in a dress that just feels so YOU.
If you’re ready to start your bespoke bridal journey then head to my website and get in touch via the contact form. I can’t wait to chat all things wedding with you 💫🫶

I spent so long putting this post together that I can’t tell if it’s even interesting any more…so I hope it is 😅
Some of these photos bring back such vivid memories of thinking to myself ‘what am I doing?’
There’s a special bit of magic in choosing to blindly believe in yourself, and just figure it out as you go. I see it as a quiet rebellion in this day and age, to believe.
Putting the evolution of Solunah and just life down on the page like this has made me feel giddy with excitement at what’s to come. My head is full to the brim with ideas right now, perhaps it’s the May energy awakening my creativity.
So grateful for all of the wonderful brides I get to meet and work with, for you girlies who get it, who want to wear what I’m making 💫✨🌙
2026, and already 2027, are seasons that 2022 me wasn’t sure would ever happen 🥹

Using vintage + sustainable materials & conscious practices. Right here in the West Country.
Playing try-on with @solunahstudio has to be one of my all time favourite things of the bride to be experience so far (when it’s personal & handcrafted, it just hits different).
More will be revealed soon…

✨ Studio days ✨
Sharing the space with Eloise @your.social.sister for the day, while she quietly did her thing, capturing a glimpse into the studio and some moments behind the making.
The studio is so much more than just a work place, or a space to meet with brides and explore the collection…
It’s a space for us to let creativity flow, and delve deeper into who you are and what your bridal look should say about you
A space to feel confident, in your own taste, in your choices and in the care and quality you’ll receive along the journey
A space to be heard and held, where each idea for your wedding dress is discussed and considered, no matter how small a tweak to a design, until your wedding dress is perfect for you
The studio is a place for us to connect, to share your vision for your bridal style and work together collaboratively on this project of a lifetime.
So that when you arrive for your final fitting and step in front of the mirror, the reflection looking back at you is the bridal version of yourself you’ve always imagined…ready to walk down the aisle to your person 💍✨
There’s so much more to share from this lovely day spent with @your.social.sister - let me know in the comments what you’d like to see more of ✨

✨ The Myth Sleeves ✨
The bridal detail you didn’t know you needed… but won’t be able to stop thinking about.
Crafted from dreamy crinkle silk georgette, the Myth sleeves are light, airy, and full of texture. Softly gathered at the shoulder and cuff, and tied delicately with flowing silk lengths. Styled in these gorgeous shots with the Poet gown.
If you’re looking to add a romantic, whimsical finish to your bridal look, these could be the missing piece.

Most brides will never do this when dress shopping…but I sometimes wish they did.
Go to at least one appointment on your own.
I know dress shopping is such a special moment and one that you want to share with your mum, sister, or best friends, and that can be amazing!
But it can also mean a lot of opinions, reactions, and expectations in the room. Everyone has their own unique taste and style.
When you’re alone, something really different happens.
You can actually tune into your own thoughts and feelings about each dress.
Just you and how you feel in the dress.
No raised eyebrows.
No “I’m not sure about that one.”
No trying to read everyone else’s reaction.
Just you. And the mirror. And your inner voice.
This allows for a more open conversation with the designer, where you can go into detail about what you love, explore ideas together and make sure you’re nailing every element of your dress.
This doesn’t apply to every bride, if you know your own mind and have wonderfully supportive and trusted companions by all means take them along to every appointment.
But if you tend to be easily swayed, or you have someone with certain expectations or very strong opinions, sometimes giving yourself permission to try bridal styles on alone will give you the headspace and clarity you need.
There will always be multiple fittings for your wedding dress, so if you take the time to focus on yourself just once along the journey…
You’ll have a clear sense of what makes you feel most confident when they join you for fizz and celebrations.
And that confidence makes dress shopping so much easier.
✨ Brides-to-be, would you ever go to an appointment alone?
✨ Georgina ✨
…and those sleeves!!
Bringing this bespoke design to life for Georgina was such a pleasure. I adore the textural play of these pleated tulle sleeves alongside the soft sheen of luxe satin and the finishing touch of trailing silk wrist ties.
Coming up with a bespoke design can feel quite daunting, but when you trust the process (and me) to guide you through each step, it can be the most enjoyable and personalised experience.
We’ll always find a starting point to build upon together, whether that’s a sketch, and inspiration image, or a sample from the collection you like elements of. Those threads of ideas will lead the way through the design process and evolve into to your dream dress.
The collaborative process of choosing each detail and refining your design until it’s perfect for you is the part I love the most about working with a bride on a bespoke wedding dress.
Sending this wonderful pair happy anniversary wishes this month, where has that year gone! 🥂
I’d love to create some more statement sleeves for the coming seasons…if you have ideas on a bespoke design, get in touch, I’d love to chat 💫
