Day two of the 5,000 mile 1.4T swap road trip adventure!
A lot has been done, but there’s still plenty left to tackle. Suspension and brake components have been refreshed or replaced, the gas tank and lines are cleaned and installed, the battery is in and the heater core is all plumbed up. The interior also got some love with a cleanup and a @coolerworx shifter install.
Huge thanks to Tim and Ralph from @tomassporttuning for stepping in to help move the engine forward while Fred and Gabriel focused on the wiring issues. Unfortunately, the wiring harness had more hidden damage and almost every connector was broken.
With only 3 days left, the pressure is on. Fred and Gabriel need prayers and good vibes to get this done! On a more positive note, Fred is pretty hyped about a surprise for the pickup coming soon!
