Book recommendation! I normally am not interested in serial killer books, but this one is very different. What kind of book about serial killers starts with an overview on topography, maps and geologic features?? This one! And I have to say it is GRIPPING.
I think Caroline Fraser has made a strong case that the wave of monsters the US faced in the 60’s-90’s can be traced back to…us. As in: industry. Lead. Arsenic. Smelting. Even Charles Manson appears in this book, and it looks like ol’ Charlie got plenty of these ingredients along Bundy and the whole cast of villains that once populated the Pacific Northwest. We’ll never know for sure, but this audiobook is making me a believer.
