We cut down some twin double hung windows to create singles to suit the new floor plan and replaced some of the sash balances - good fun playing around with old joinery.
Another milestone complete this week - reaching 50% on this monster house re clad for some wonderful repeat clients.
Can’t wait to get all the windows in.
First job for the year ✅
We were challenged to match the profile of the existing newel posts - a 125x125 ironbark post and a few hours of sanding - we think it’s pretty close 🤌
A few progress pics from the part 1 of the renovation works. Cladding, doors and windows, and new balustrading to come. Some of the timber used on this project was recycled from the old pedestrian bridge on Kingsford Smith Drive - adding to the history of this 70’s architectural home.
