It's impossible for me to state how much it's meant for me to spend my past two summers here, and equally challenging to come to terms with the resumption of ordinary living in the aftermath of such a powerful experience. Nearly all of my most cherished musical memories and lessons on how to be a person and a musician have been illuminated to me from living with the people here and all the music that has filled the air over the course of the 14 weeks I've been here. It is the deepest blessing to be renewed with affirmation for the goodness of life, in direct spite of everything in the world which points to the contrary, from experiencing music. Thank you Marlboro for providing me more of this experience than I could ever hope to give back (but I will still try) ❤️❤️❤️ Pond anyone?

I'm thrilled to announce that my piece, Threnody, has been released today by @pinnarecords ! I wrote this over the crux of the pandemic as a reaction to all the chaos and suffering that we all collectively witnessed, and it feels like some of the most sincere work I've done as a composer and pianist. It is out now on Apple Music, Spotify, Bandcamp, and Pinna's website. All proceeds from this release will be donated to The Jed Foundation, an organization dedicated to supporting the mental health of teenagers. Head over and give it a listen whenever you can! I would like to extend my deepest thanks to Roger Rohrbach, for making this release possible through every step of the process, David Bowles for recording, mixing and mastering my takes, and Denise Burt for her absolutely stunning cover art!

Beethoven 1 with the wonderful Maestro Yaniv Dinur and the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra! I am very honored to have been awarded First Prize at the 2022 PianoArts Competition. Meeting my fellow pianists, and working with such great musicians this past week has made the whole experience a highlight of my year. This past freshman year has had its ups and downs and juggling all my commitments while adjusting to a new environment has been difficult, but the experience of dissociating into Beethoven 1, surrounded by the vibrant and enthusiastic sound of the orchestra has made it worth it. I would like to thank everyone who has supported me this past year, and especially my wonderful teacher, without whom none of this would have been possible.

Prokofiev 3 from last night! Thank you so much to Mr. Quartuccio and the Nova Vista Symphony for moving mountains in order to make this concert happen! I feel so fortunate to be able to play this piece again despite all the Covid chaos of the past two years. Thank you to my family and friends as well for your support!
