In the early hours of November 25th, 2025, our family’s life took a tragic turn. An unexpected fire ripped through our four-bedroom home in Awoshie, Accra, leaving all of our belongings in ruins. The fire damaged every single room, destroying furniture, clothing, documents, electronics, and countless other cherished family memories. Our home, which had provided us with safety, love, and stability for many years, is now gone. My parents are devastated and struggling emotionally after the fire. Although we are grateful that there were no losses in terms of life, the emotional and financial implications of losing our home have been incredibly overwhelming. We left with only the clothes on our backs, and now we must begin again by finding temporary shelter, buying the essentials needed to survive, and starting to rebuild our shattered lives. That is why we are humbly asking for your help. Your contributions will aid us in providing emergency shelter and temporary housing, purchasing clothing, food, and general living essentials, acquiring school supplies for our children, obtaining replacements for important documents and household goods, and starting the long process of rebuilding our home. Regardless of whether your contribution is large or small, it will be greatly appreciated during this difficult time.
