Production is underway on CARELESS! 🎬
Delighted to announce that Synchronicity Films and Easy Tiger Productions are in production on CARELESS - a gripping and provocative four-part thriller and Stan Original produced in association with Channel 4, Nine Network, All3Media International and Screen Scotland, supported by Screen NSW.
Filming is now underway in Sydney and Glasgow, with a brilliant cast led by Solly McLeod (HOUSE OF THE DRAGON), Robyn Malcolm (AFTER THE PARTY), Katie Leung (BRIDGERTON) and Richard Roxburgh (RAKE). The series also stars Mabel Li (THE TESTAMENTS), Thomas Weatherall (THE NARROW ROAD TO THE DEEP NORTH) and Alison Peebles (DEPT. Q).
Created by Helen FitzGerald (author of THE CRY) and Louise Fox (BROADCHURCH), CARELESS follows Scottish backpacker Robbie as he becomes a live-in carer for a notorious rock’n’roll legend - and is drawn into a dangerous, intimate orbit where trust, power and secrets collide.
Written by Louise Fox (Episodes 1, 2 and 4) and Christian White (Episode 3), directed by Stevie Cruz-Martin and produced by Angela Littlejohn, with Ian Collie and Rob Gibson executive producing for Easy Tiger, alongside Claire Mundell and Deanne Cunningham executive producing for Synchronicity. Louise Fox and Adrian Burns also serve as executive producers.
