justin richard,
when we first discussed the possibility of getting married this year, we lamented missing the opportunity of doing it on our 10th anniversary. so i looked up the number 11 and its significance:
- 11 is often called a “master number” in numerology
- it represents intuition, insight, and enlightenment
- it also signifies that you are embarking on a new chapter in your life
i think that’s very fitting for today.
saying ‘i love you’ is really easy, but what matters most is what lives inside those words. when i say i love this person, what do i want to do for them? what do i hope for with this person?
so these are my enduring promises to you:
1. date night once a week
2. listen, communicate, be honest
3. when things get hard, i will give you and myself the space needed to tackle the issue in good faith
4. kupakiss every day
5. to keep choosing you
i’m so happy to be doing this with you today. i’ve always wished for a love like my parents share - a love that comforts, a love that feels safe, a love that challenges, a love that endures. i’ve known for a long, long time now that i have found that with you.
you are steady in all the ways i need, and surprising in all the ways i love.
you are the best parts of me.
happy anniversary, baba.
