After a lot of thought, I’ve made the difficult decision that I will not be competing at International Mr Leather @internationalmrleatherinc in Chicago in May 2026.
I want to start with a big thank you. Being Mr Leather London has been one of the greatest honours of my life. I’m deeply grateful to the London Leathermen @londonleathermen , to our community, and to everyone who has supported me over the year. This has been a hard call to make. The current political climate in the United States has left me feeling that travelling there would not be safe for me. I need to make choices that protect my wellbeing.
I am disappointed and I’m sure many of you are. I’m genuinely sorry. I hope it’s understood that I’ve not taken this lightly. I’m still here, and I’m still committed to this community. I’ll keep supporting the leather scene in London and beyond, and I’ll keep doing the work that this title has asked of me: showing up, representing our values, and looking out for each other.
I am still eligible to compete at IML 2027 and I look forward to competing then.
Thank you for understanding, and thank you for the kindness you’ve shown me throughout my title year.
