Solideon has signed a strategic MOU with @acuaocean to advance AUKUS-aligned dual-use manufacturing innovation.
Together, we are building a framework for deployable, reconfigurable manufacturing cells designed for austere environments, shipyards, and forward-deployed bases. These systems accelerate the path from design to deployment, ensuring allied forces can manufacture at the speed of relevance, not years or months, but when and where capability is needed.
To us, this is more than an MOU. It is a leap forward in our commitment to build boldly, deploy anywhere, and deliver the defense-first, dual-use innovation that today’s threat landscape demands.

Solideon is proud to join Naval Postgraduate School’s CAMRE, FLEETWERX, and partners across the defense ecosystem for Trident Warrior 25. This exercise was largest distributed manufacturing demonstration in DoD history!
Together, we’re proving that forward-deployed teams like the Joint Advanced Manufacturing Cell (JAMC) can use 3D printing, machining, and augmented reality to deliver mission-critical parts across 8,000+ miles and two continents- exactly when and where warfighters need them.

This summer, we welcomed Anit Padalkar (UC Berkeley), Brian Hsu (UC Berkeley), and Etan Grant (University of Arizona) to our Berkeley HQ for hands-on work across robotics, controls, design, and additive manufacturing. In just a few weeks, they’ve brought fresh insight, technical rigor, and curiosity to every project they’ve touched.

New Crew Members: James Guzman and Francisco Amezcua
James joins us as a Senior Robotics Software Engineer. He brings expertise across various autonomous systems, including UAVs, surgical robotics, AI, and data architecture. He holds a Master’s in Artificial Intelligence from San Jose State and has scaled technology at some of the most ambitious startups.
Francisco comes to us from Tesla’s Model Y production line. He has engineered systems at UPS and led a Space + AI hackathon at his alma mater, California State University, East Bay, where he earned his degree in Computer Engineering.

Solideon has been selected by AFWERX and the Air Force Research Laboratory for a $1.25 million Direct-to-Phase II contract! This award furthers our mission to transform robotic arms into multi-robotic-enabled factories wherever they’re needed. The contract will support our development of a deployable, single-pallet additive manufacturing cell capable of flexibly producing critical systems in expeditionary environments.

We’re thrilled to welcome our Summer 2025 Intern Cohort to Solideon! Over the next 10 weeks, on-site in Berkeley, Anit, Brian, and Etan will dive into projects across our core engineering verticals, from robotics and controls to additive manufacturing and perception, helping us build the autonomous micro-factories of tomorrow.
Anit Padalkar: “I am studying Mechanical Engineering and EE/CS at UC Berkeley. I'm passionate about autonomous systems and aspire to innovate in the robotics industry. During my free time, I love hiking and exploring lookout spots in the Bay Area!
Brian Hsu: “I am a current student at UC Berkeley studying Mechanical Engineering and Data Science. In my free time, I enjoy arts and crafts, bouldering, and learning all kinds of random skills, from sewing to tufting to juggling. In terms of my motivation to become an engineer, my goal is to one day create inventions that help make the world a better place.”
Etan Grant: “I am an LA-born aerospace engineering student with a passion for tinkering. I lead planes and rockets clubs at the University of Arizona, where I also sing in the choir! I love music, dogs, and technology, and I am a proud nerd.”
