It was our third year donating to the Holiday Food Drive with Brooklyn Borough President Antonio Reynoso’s office 🙏🏽
We delivered these food donations free of charge to two orgs in Bed-Stuy: The Brooklyn Club and Dr. Kim Best with Healing Hearts Chaplaincy. Check their interviews in the post! 🎤
While there we bumped into Save the Next Generation & BIVO at the food drive — right on time..🤞🏼
Then we swung by SOS Bed-Stuy (Save Our Streets) to check in with the kids and staff — they’re locked in for Dec 13 at our Citywide Peace Summit with the Brooklyn District Attorney. Love to the team!
AND THEN…
Had to scoop young Derrick, winner of our Foot Locker “Free Feet” Challenge at the Hoop Media Ingersoll program. Took him to grab those Ja 3 “Zombie” kicks he’s been dreaming about.. His smile alone made the whole day worth it 👟🔥
Also had a dope planning session midday with the Peace Ambassadors — Samaya, Unique, Aaliyah, Kells, Mista, KayEye, Breyanna, and Dr. Joe — gearing up for Dec 13th 🙌🏽
